JUNE FISHING REPORT

Our spring has been a little cooler than the norm this year. This has allowed the Mackinaw to stay very active, higher in the water column. We have been primarily trolling but jigging will work. The average fish caught have been in the 18-24 inch range (2-4 lbs.) but there have been several "over thirties" caught.

The Rainbow and Cutthroat fishing has been slower than average due to the inclimate weather but there have been many Kokanee caught on lead core rods and surface lines with spinner rigs.

We look forward to fishing with you, Capt. Charlie

The following are the fish species represented in Lake Granby.  All of them are targeted during the summer and winter seasons.  Two of our most sought-after fish are the Kokanee and the Mackinaw.

The Mackinaw in this area can reach in upwards of 30 pounds!

BROWN TROUT

CUTTHROAT TROUT

RAINBOW TROUT

KOKANEE  (LAND LOCKED SOCKEYE SALMON)

MACKINAW  (LAKE TROUT)
